Even Peter – Forgiveness and Second Chances – October 26th 2025

Even Peter.

Forgiveness as a core characteristic of Christian character. Peter would quiz Jesus about how many times we should forgive (70 X 7 – not just the normal 7). But he became the great denier and had to be hoping that there would be forgiveness for him. As one of his final acts Jesus reinstates him. What does this say to us about our own frailty and God’s grace. An what do we learn about the new carriers of forgiveness.
